Christ Almighty!

What a truly shite week.

Child 2 ended up in hospital again and needed a blood transfusion. That sounds extreme but they needed it because they were very anaemic.

2 nights and now discharged! Hallelujah!

Now we’ve got new medication to manage so that this doesn’t happen again.

They are being a super trooper and coping really well. The nausea has not fully resolved but we are getting there and they can now eat and drink again.

The staff in Paeds A&E were all great but the staff on the ward were not all as good. I do wonder how much they actually listen to patients / patients’ parents because I had to explain the same thing about 5 times.

Anyway, that’s my whinge over.

Child 2 is now home and much better than they were yesterday.
